Cheers for the storyline. We have just had our meeting (which I'll post seperately) and are fired up with ideas on what we can realise for the lads.
In the meantime some things for you guys to do for Monday:
- Jump safety - Can Dave Ball arrange some time with the lads to review some safety tips before next Monday. It can be after school (Dave can you post when you can be available?)
- Clothes - on Monday can the lads ensure they wear nothing with green in it
- Mats - you're sourcing these
- Props - I'm going back to Toxteth Tv tomorrow afternoon to recce what props they have and to gain the green paint colour. What are the chances of borrowing a gym vaulting horse that we could wrap in green cloth? Any props the lads bring will need to be sturdy and safe, painted, and dry for Monday
- Travel - can my students get reimbursed for their travel on Monday?
- Monday start - We need to be in for 9:00am on Monday so we can get everthing set up as quickly as we can. Will this be a problem for the lads?
I think that is all for now. I'll post the summary of the production meeting later.
Hi, Yes we can borrow a horse but we cant paint it so would need to be a cloth. I emailed Lee about that today, not checked for a reply yet. Stan is taking equipment in the car on Mon so it is looking like me and the lads are getting a taxi but we will make it for 9am. Not sure we can fit in a session with Dave as there is something on every night after school this week, even the weekend as it is a staff residential. It would be great if Toxteth tv have any ropes or chains they could swing from as its tricky finding the right things that they need. Regarding reimbursment Im sure that will be fine, if they give me their receipts then I can send them to the Biennial. The work that Matt is doing is fantastic and is exactly the kind of look we are going for.
ReplyDeleteHi Jo,
ReplyDeleteGreat about the horse.
I'm meeting my guys in Lime Street and getting a Taxi to Toxteth TV. They are getting the train so we may all meet up and go in convey. Depends on times. Some of the specific ideas the lads have got will be unfilmable with the resources and time available, so the rope idea more than likely falls into this category. Once we get their storyboard Adam and I can break it down into a filmable shot list. This will be ready for Monday.
