Just to quickly confirm what was discussed at the really energetic and highly creative production meeting on Friday.
We are to concentrate this week on nailing the elements for the storyboard panels 12-16 for Friday.
Dave Bentick (aka chromaDave) is to composite the footage for these scenes together to make a clear action sequence. He is to use Dave Ball's concept model below to help composite the lads jumping through the window. (chromaDave don't worry about resizing the image, it's just a test).
Note: chromaDave can we arrange a meeting on Tues/Wed the work-in-progress, just so I can discuss the composition of the lads with you? Can you concentrate on getting the lads composited together within each type of shot (close up, medium, wide) and from each angle for that meeting? Also you left your monitor adapter in C431 last Friday.
Dave Ball & Shaun to concentrate on building basic models for all the assets we discussed, but concentrating upon the flat roof with windows and interior of room. If you get all those fleshed out before Friday, please then attempt the rest of the asset list.
Jenny Hope you're feeling better? Can you concentrate on the meteor sequence following the animatic (see post below) for Friday. The test you did a while back looks good and certainly is near what we need.
Matt you know what type of textures we are looking for so you know what you're doing. If you can stay a bit later after the next meeting then we can talk about the more graphic design based areas of the project.
The next production meeting is at 11:30 on Friday. Last week's ran to 2 hours and we were still going. It would be beneficial if everyone could keep a flexible afternoon in case things do go on. Would this be problematic? Feedback to me so I can gauge our time together.
I'd like to welcome Shaun to the team. He hit the ground running and came up with some great suggestions on Friday! Lovely stuff.
I won't be in work until Tuesday as I am in Edinburgh for a PhD meeting at Edinburgh College of Art. All summer Stas and I will be based in C431. That's it for now, I will have web access so I'll keep checking the blog.
